I will be reviewing the free mobile version of the game. I don’t image there being much of a difference between the free mobile one and the paid version. With that being said I did look at the Xbox achievements and they look really easy. If you are looking for a game to get all achievements/trophy’s I do believe that this is one of them.

Let’s take a look at the game

In Mob Control you control a cannon with your finger that shoots out your Mobs.  You can fire your Mobs through gates these gates multiple the amount of Mobs.  The goal is to take down the enemy towers or base. Some levels have multiple stages.

You have a special unit called Champions. As you fire your cannon a meter next to your cannon will fill up. Once filled you release your cannon by lifting your finger to launch your champion.

You also have a special attack called ultimate. As you play the level a bar will fill on the bottom of the screen. Once filled tap to use you ultimate.

The battlefields you can encounter can be basic and just have gates for you to multiply your Mobs. Then you can encounter more complex ones. There is a death gate that instantly kills Mobs that go through them. To fun ones with pipes and warps even giant blocks that you push in a tug of war style. You may even find battlefields gates and blockers move around or up and down. It’s a good mix of battlefields you will come across.

As you take down the opponents base you get a small amount of time to loot it and get resources. These resources can be card packs to get new or upgrade units.  Gold used to upgrade and buy things from the store. Bricks used to use the buildings and upgrade them as well.

After the battle, you can stop a moving marker on a multiplier. If you watch an ad, it will multiply your winnings by the amount you landed on.

When you upgrade a building, you get a skill point to use in that building. These upgrades can be for your cannon like giving you a chance to get a super mob. You can increase your towers health for when people attack your base. You also increase your loot time. Lastly you can upgrade your Townhall to increase brick capacity.

You get new Mobs, Champions, Ultimate’s, or Cannons by getting card packs and getting enough blueprints of that unit. You also can get blueprints from the season pass.

You also can increase the fire rate of your cannon on the main screen. This can be done by using gold or watching an ad.

The season pass will have you completing many missions. These include winning a certain number of battles with the chicken Mob. As you finish the missions you get points. After enough points you will level up the pass. The season pass has a free version and a paid one. The paid pass is not that bad its only $7.

There is an adventure you can go on. You will have to get the token need to play a level. These levels are a little bit harder than the normal levels. You do get packs from these levels which is really helpful.

There are always events going on. At least in my time playing there has always been an event going on. These can be using the predetermined loadouts and win battles. There is also world clash here you choose a team theses can be an animal. The team with the most wins at the end will get the best prizes. These are just some of the events I have seen.

Should You Play?

YES I have lost track of time every time I played this game. The simple controls allow you to play this game with one hand. It is a great game to play while watching TV.

With a different battlefield every battle keeping the game feel fresh. You will need a lot of bricks to use your building and upgrade them so you will always be busy.

The events will have you playing with different loadouts. Or going for a lot of wins for your team or collecting tokens for the adventure.

This game also has done some cool colabs in the past. One of them was transformers. I used to be able to see them in the cards section. There has since been an update that has removed them for the card section. So, fingers crossed they do some cool colabs in the future.
