Let’s take a look at the game
In Meow Kingdom you help a new mercenary group make a name for them self’s. You do this by going on adventures helping all the people you can. You will also be building and upgrading your island. A big pulse is you can also decorate your island any way you want.
A really cool feature is you can follow any cat around and pet them. You can also take a picture of them and use it as your profile picture. You will also have to clean up their hairballs this does give you gold though so worth it. You can also find shiny objects on the beach and hidden monsters on the island to get even more gold.
The main way you recruit new cat’s is by the Gatcha. This game does run limited banners for a special cat. Some of the special cats will also have an event to go along with the banner. These events will have a story and extra challenges for you to do. The event also has its own store you use the currency you get from the event here. You will need recruitment tickets to recruit. There are two types of tickets normal tickets used in the regular recruitment. And special tickets used in the special banners.

This game has few resources, and I like that. There is the basic resource gold. There is also EXP you will need these to level up the cats. You also get Boost Powder which is used to level up equipment. There are also equipment shards you will need to craft new equipment. But that’s it, it’s nice not have a lot of different resources to get.
Each building will produce a resource for you. The more you level them up the more they will produce. As you level up the buildings they will change in appearance. This is a very nice touch it adds to the feeling of making your island better. With this being and idle game you will gain resources while not playing. As you progress through the story you will can access to more buildings.
You can visit your friends or random people’s islands to see how they decorated. You will need to do this for the daily quests.
Each day you get to choose a town mission this can be Gold, EXP or Boost Powder. You will do 14 task that don’t take long and you will get rewarded based on what you selected.
The battles are auto battles. You can use the skills manually or set them to auto. You choose 5 cats to use in battle. You also choose a formation each formation will give you a different boost to your stats. For example, if you choose the close-range formation the front line will get a 10% attack buff. The formations add a nice touch to this style of game. They allow you to have more strategy in making your team.
There are plenty of other things to do in this game they are all in the Explore button. You can go on commissions for rewards these just take real time. There is the Peep Peep Brawl. You fight waves of little chicks still in their shells. You get better rewards the further you make it. The cat tree is like a battle tower you fight your way up the cat tree. The higher you are in the cat tree the more resources you can collect every day. The Ruins of trials has you fight a shadow version of a boss. There are multiple stages. The higher the stages, the better the rewards. You can only challenge this mode 3 times a day. Lastly, there is the arena where you fight other players’ teams. The higher your rank is at the end of the season, the better the rewards are. You can challenge 5 players a day. There is a guild raid mode as well. It was not open while I was playing. It remains closed at the time of writing this review.

Should You Play?
If you are looking for a real cute gatcha game all about cats than this is the game for you. I personally have too many gatcha games I play right now. This is one I would play a lot if I had the time.
The cat models are so good and I do look forward to seeing the designs that add in the future. They are so cute. There is so much to do every day in this game to keep you busy.
The island decoration is such a cool idea. I am interested to see what people create when the decoration options become massive.
I really do like this game. It would be awesome if it was released on PC. I do know you can use the google play games beta to play this on PC. But if it was on steam or had its own launcher I feel it would get a lot more attention.
