Let’s take a look at the game
In this game you play golf against other players by setting up your shot including spin. Then you drag you finger down and let go when the indicator in in the spot you want it. You get a super shot if you let go when the indicator is in the middle. Super shots are worth more points.
Don’t forget to keep the wind in mind when lining up your shot.
There are also special shots like sneaky shot this stays low to avoid trees. There is Floater shot as well that bounces off the water for the first time you hit water. There are more special shots for you to discover.
The Kit gives you a boost. The brushes widen the super shot area. The tape slows down the indicator on the bar. There are normal, Advance and super ones for the brushes and tape. For example, the normal brush expands the area by 20% and the super brush expands it by 80%. You equip on of each and only have a certain amount of them. You can get them as rewards or buy them with real money.
You get bags as you play that have rewards in them. These take keys to open you get keys every day for free. If you want, you can also buy them with real money.
There are 7 characters as of writing this. 4 females and 3 males. As you collect character shards you get to level them up giving them better stats. If your luck is bad, the character you like might not be as strong. A character you are getting a lot of shards for could be better.
Each character can be customized with clothes, hats, glasses and gloves.
You can also get golf bags and put a charm on it. You also can change the ball trail and the animation that plays when you get it in the hole.
There are plenty of clubs and balls to collect. Different balls have different bonuses like wind resistance and distance bonus. Clubs have different stats. The more of the club you collect, the more you can level it up. This makes the club even better. This does make it so some player that have high level clubs can just hit further.
There are some really cool looking clubs and balls some are even animated.
There is a battle pass. The rewards from the battle pass include bags, cosmetics, keys, special shots, balls, kits, gold and ruby’s. There are some rewards that are locked behind the paid for battle pass.
This game has plenty of game modes for you to play. The main one you will play is Super League. The great part of this game mode is you don’t wait for your turn. You play the tour within the time limit. Once everyone has finished the tour you can get the results and find out where you placed. The more times you complete the available tours you unlock more tours.
Another great game mode is the Shot Challenge. This game mode changes after the set time for the current challenge is up. I have gotten to play closes to the pin. You get more points the closed you get to the hole. The reward is gold.
I also got to play putt challenge this mode is different for normal putting. In this challenge you don’t get to see from the top down. You get combo from getting it in the hole one after the other. You putt for the time limit most points win. The reward is gold for this one as well.
The last one I have played as of the time of writing this is Match 3. This was the only one I played that you play by yourself. The objective is to get the same points on 3 different holes. There are 3 rings around the hole each farther from the hole. The best you can do is get the ball in the hole in all 3 holes. Not only do you get gold like the other challenges, but you also can get bags.
One-Point Mission is a bunch of challenges with 3 objectives each mission. You can get a bunch of rewards for doing these. For the most part, the objectives are to land in a color area. If you get the yellow, which is the closest color to the hole, you also get the other colors as well. So you don’t have to play each mission 3 times if you get the yellow area.
Golden Clash is where you can make gold, but you must put up your own gold. The one I did was a one on one. Where you put up 500 of your own gold and can win 1,000 gold. If you lose though you get no gold.
Crew Made Open is very interesting. This mode is completely made up of tours made by players. You make tours cost Ruby’s that cost real money. You do get Crew Points for making tours. You use Crew Points to get cosmetics for the characters.
There is also Tournaments this game mode says coming soon so I have not tried that one yet.
My favorite part of this game is the Swingchat. In the game mode you challenge people to play golf. This can be random people or your friends.
What makes this game mode different is that you take turns. You get to see your opponent’s shot as well. I will break it down on how it works. You challenge someone and they accepted and they go first. When they take their shot, they submit it and then you get to take your shot. This goes back and forth until you finish the hole.
I really like that I can play against multiple people. I take one shot a day. Then, I wait for them to log on to the game and take their shot.
You can also join a clan. Clans right now is the only area in the game where you can chat with other players. As you play the game while in a clan, you earn points for the clan. The leader can use these points to give everyone boosts.
This game is still new so hopefully they add more features with the clans. If you do plan to play this game join the Cobra Kai clan it’s the one, I’m in.
Should You Play?
100% YES this game is a blast to play. It feels so good to get an amazing shot or even a hole in one. The game feels good to play nice and smooth. You get so many rewards every day for free. I love the character designs and the customizing you can do.
The Swingchat is the best part of this game. At first, I thought it was going to be okay. But then, after trying it, I was hooked. I send out my 5 random challenges every day.
The only bad things I can say is there is no global chat, and the clans feel empty on features. I also keep getting a code 3 error when trying to watch ads to get more rewards. Someone in the clan I’m in said they had it as well for a bit then it went away. So hopefully it goes away for me as well. Seeing as I’m going to be playing this game for a while. As I like to say it has earned its place on my phone.
