Bight Memory: Infinite Is a short experence with about 2 hours of gameplay. You play as Shelia who is sent into investigate a weather phenomenon. you will have to fight a military group and more to find out what is going on.
You have a good arsenal at your disposal. You have a sword that can launch your enemy into the air. It slashes really fast to deal a good amount of damage. You can also get new skills for your sword. For example, you could have an energy slash that travels forward. Think of the legend of Zelda’s master sword, but you don’t need full health. I really like using this ability it’s like free ammo in a way. Your sword and also deflect enemy’s projectiles back at them and parry melee attacks to break their guard.
For guns there is the assault rifle, shotgun, full auto handgun and sniper rifle. Each gun has special ammo that gives the gun more damage or even changes the bullets all together. For example, the sniper rifle’s special ammo changes the bullets into a dart. The dart explodes after a set amount of time. You start with the assault rifle as the story progresses you get the other guns.

You also have movement at your disposal with a double jump and dash. As well as a wall run and push off in the middle of wall run. The movement in this game could have been amazing. If they would have had arenas where you fight a group of enemies set up with you being able to use your movement as you fight.
There is even a stealth section in this game with a few different takedown animations. This part was nothing special. You stay low and don’t let the enemy see you. An indicator shows you if you’re seen. Judging by one of the animations, they had a lot more planned for this section. Maybe other stealth parts got cut. In the animation I’m referring to, she grabs a meat cleaver through the blade with her other hand. She uses it to choke the enemy out, as if it were meant to be a stick, not a meat cleaver.
You also for some unknown reason drive a car with rockets. I think the only reason is they wanted a car with rockets in the game. Your also not meant to take this game seriously.
Should You Play?
Not for the price. This 2-hour game on steam and consoles cost $20 not on sale. On mobile this is a $5 game even then feels high for only 2 hours of play. There is not enough here for more than 1 playthrough. That being said if you ever see this game on sale of $1 grab it. it’s worth a dollar.
Now I do believe that this game is more of a tech demo. To try to get investors to make a full-length game. That would be great I would love to play a full-length game using what this game has to offer.
I did get this game of free kind of. I bought the first game Bright Memory. As part of the promotion they had, you would get Bright Memory: Infinite for free on release.
